I would like to pay tribute to Sandra, a little firecracker who once played a big part in my life. Over the years, as life took us on different paths, we regrettably lost touch, a testament to how quickly things can change. Sandra, you were truly remarkable & strong, leaving a lasting impact on everyone who knew you.
Each of us carries stories of her vibrant spirit, and one of mine stands out vividly. After a funeral, I went to check on her and found my then mother-in-law very drunk and in need of help. The kitchen was filled with the unmistakable smell of Perno and vomit the aftermath of her evening. Despite the chaos, her lively character shone through, the thought of helping her to bed and holding my nose whilst cleaning up the kitchen still makes me smile. Though Sandra is no longer with us, her life inspires us to embrace each moment and find joy, even in the most unexpected situations.
